PE Hutnitska Karolina ("we") handles personal information of users of Tutor-kun (tutorkun) (the "Service") as described below, in line with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and other applicable laws.

1. Information we collect

• Your LINE user ID and display name
• Text and voice messages you send to the Service
• Your level, learning goals and lesson history
• Payment information, which is processed by our reseller; we never store card numbers

2. How we use it

• To provide the Service: corrections, conversation, pronunciation scoring and progress reports
• To handle billing and support requests
• To improve the Service and prevent abuse

3. AI processing and third parties

To generate replies, transcribe speech and score pronunciation, your messages and voice are sent to the AI providers below, some of which are located outside Japan (for example in the United States). Under their API terms, this data is not used to train their models.

• Anthropic, PBC (USA): conversation and corrections
• Microsoft Corporation, Azure AI Speech (USA): speech recognition and pronunciation scoring
• LY Corporation (Japan): message delivery through LINE
• Paddle.com (Paddle.com Market Ltd, UK): payments, as Merchant of Record

We do not share personal information with other third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

4. Retention

Voice recordings are deleted once scoring is finished and are not stored. Text conversation history is kept as your learning history and deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to disclose, correct, stop using or delete your personal information. Contact [email protected]; we will respond promptly after verifying your identity.

6. Security

We use encryption in transit and access controls to protect personal information.

7. Changes

We will announce changes to this policy on this page.
