Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Tutor-kun (tutorkun) (the "Service"), operated by PE Hutnitska Karolina ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
The Service is an AI-powered English conversation tutor delivered through the LINE messaging app. It provides conversation practice, corrections with explanations, and pronunciation feedback. Answers are generated by AI and may contain mistakes; we do not guarantee their accuracy or completeness.
2. Free lessons and paid plans
You can use a limited number of lessons for free. Continued use requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
3. Orders and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle.com provides all customer service inquiries related to payments and handles returns. Prices are shown on our pricing page and include applicable taxes.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for anything illegal or harmful.
- Do not use automated tools or scripts, or use the Service at scale for purposes other than learning English.
- Do not interfere with the operation of the Service or try to access it without authorization.
- Do not infringe the rights of others.
6. Changes and suspension
We may change or discontinue the Service with prior notice.
7. Limitation of liability
Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the Service, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.
